The Winnipeg Jets and the Chicago Blackhawks are set to square off for the sixth time in eight days in a preseason game Saturday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
The Jets are 0-3-0 this preseason and will look to build on a 3-1 series lead against the Chicago Bears on Thursday.
They will be looking to get a win against the Hawks, who are 2-1-0 in their last four games against Winnipeg.
Both teams have struggled with the Blackhawks’ depth and inconsistency at the top of their lineup, as they’ve combined for 14 goals and 32 points.
Both games are set for an 8 p.m.
Winnipeg (10-3) leads the all-time series, 4-1.
Chicago (8-4-1) has lost five of seven and is coming off a 4-2 overtime loss at home to the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday.
This will be the fifth time the two teams have met since the beginning of the 2015-16 season.
The Hawks have been in Winnipeg for two games in 2017-18, losing 3-2.
They lost 5-2 in overtime to the Blackhawks on April 28, 2017.
The Blackhawks have been on a seven-game win streak, including two straight victories in their past three games.
Chicago’s Erik Gustafsson scored his second goal of the season for his first NHL goal, and Brandon Saad tallied his second career game-winning goal.
Brandon Bollig had a goal and two assists.
