Fox Sports West has been purchased by Fox Sports Network.
The purchase of Fox Sports Western by Fox Business Networks (FBN) marks the end of the Fox Sports Northeast and FoxSports Southwest businesses.
The Fox Sports Southeast and Fox Networks West brands will remain independent brands that will be operated by the same owner.
FBN CEO Kevin O’Connor said in a statement, “This is a great day for all Fox Sports businesses, our fans and employees, and for all of Fox’s advertisers.”
Fox Sports Southwest and Fox News Southwest, the network’s sports cable channels, will be moved to a new studio in Atlanta and will no longer be able to broadcast live coverage.
Fox Sports Channel 2 will remain the network that airs live and on-demand programming.
The network will also be sold to a partner.
In its announcement, FBN said it was “deeply committed to investing in FoxSports Southeast and FOX Networks West, both of which will continue to deliver our content to fans and advertisers, while moving into new studios.”
The two networks will be sold on the same day to a group of investors led by former Comcast executive Tom Rutledge.
Fox Sports Midwest and Fox Business Channel 3 will be closed and relocated to Atlanta.
The Fox Sports New York City and Fox Soccer NYC will be combined into a one-year sports-focused operation with Fox Sports Philadelphia.
FoxSports New York will remain Fox Sports’ flagship network, but the New York Mets, New York Giants, New Jersey Devils, and New York Jets will also no longer broadcast.
FoxSports Chicago will be split between Fox Sports Chicago and FoxChicago.
FoxNews Channel 1 will remain on the air, and the channel will become the new home of the Newscast Network, FoxSports’ main cable channel.
Fox News Channel 2, the flagship channel for Fox News, will continue broadcasting live coverage on FoxNews.com, the site of the site that FoxNews has been operating since 2013.
FoxNews Channel 3, the home of Fox News Network and FoxNews Sunday, will remain at FoxNews Chicago, which is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group.
Fox Broadcasting Co. (FBC) and Fox Television Stations (FTT) will be merged.
Fox News Channel will become a subsidiary of FoxNews Network.
Fox Business Worldwide will be renamed Fox Business.
Fox Networks Group, a unit of FBC, will become Fox News Digital.
Fox Networks Group will also become Fox Networks.
The new Fox Sports North will continue its coverage of the NBA playoffs and other events.
Fox & FNC will become FNC News.
The former FNC SportsCenter will remain FNC World.
Fox and FNC also will launch Fox Sports Go.
The FBS and FS1 networks will merge into one new network, FoxBizNetwork.
Fox Broadcasting Co., parent company of FS1, FS2, FS3, FS4, FS5, FS6, FS7, and FS8, announced the merger on Monday.
FS1 will become FS2.
The two stations will be owned by Time Warner Cable.
FS2 will be controlled by ESPN.FS1 and FS2 in 2018 will be in the same market segment as Fox Sports and Fox Broadcasting, but will be run by different companies.
FS3 will be the same channel as Fox News.
FS4 and FS5 will be part of the ESPN Network, which will be an online network.
FS6 will be produced by Fox News’ parent company, 21st Century Fox.
FS7 will be Fox News and FXX.
FS8 will be FS9.
FS9 will be a new network that will not be part the existing Fox Business channel.
The two new networks will combine the programming of Fox Business, FoxNews, Fox College Sports, and FSN and FS3.
FS10 will be broadcast by FoxSports1.
FS11 will be carried by FS1.FS2 will carry FS3 and FS4.
FS5 and FS6 are part of FS4 as well as FS3-FTS1.
The FS2 channel will continue as the sports news and sports information channel that airs primetime programming on Fox Sports 1, FS1 and the Fox News channel.
The FS3 channel will be more of a sports network, and will air primetime content and the FSN channel will have sports programming.
FS12 will be another sports network and will include Fox Sports 2.
FS13 will be available on the FoxSports app.
FS14 will be on FoxSports.
FS15 will be exclusively carried on Fox Business World.
FS16 will be aired on Fox College Games.
FS17 will be FOX Sports Classics.
FS18 will be ESPNU.
FS19 will be NBC Sports Network Extra.
FS20 will be hosted by the hosts of “Fox and Friends.”
The FS21 channel will feature live sports programming and highlights from the FoxNews channels.FS21
