Cleveland sports reporter Michael DiRocco is a big fan of the Browns.
But the team is playing the game too close to home for him, and the team needs to win games in a way that keeps the fans and fans of Cleveland, regardless of what team they root for, happy.
In fact, that’s exactly what he told me at the annual Browns Fan Fest on Saturday.
It’s a time for the Browns to show that they can win games, even if it means sacrificing wins to the team’s long-term growth.
“I think they’ve been pretty consistent in the last five years,” DiRosco said.
“You look at the record.
You look at what they’ve done in terms of what they did in the playoffs.
So, I think they’re a team that is consistent, they’re going to do what they do every year.
I think the way they’re playing right now, I do believe they’re still going to be a playoff team in 2017.”
